Alice Chikondi Kaluluma is Zambia’s gospel songstress who is famously known for her worship and praise.

Born in 1993 in Lusaka, Alice is the first-born child to Masiye and Amanda Kaluluma, and a sister to renowned man of God Apostle Fred Kaluluma. She is a worship leader at the City of the Lord Church and the Word Empowerment Movement (WEM).

Her entry into the Zambian gospel circles has come with three great singles namely ‘Umbi nga Imwe,’ ‘Heart Beat’ and ‘Healing Anthem’.

All these songs are doing very well and available on itsretunes music site. She plans to release her debut album this year as she keeps working on more singles.

She says gospel music is the easiest way she ministers to the people.

“I picked gospel music because it’s my way of ministering the word,” she insists.

“It’s one way I express my love for God. For example, ‘Heart Beat’ is an expression of a love relationship with God.

But what does Alice think of the music industry in relation to gospel music?

“ It’s been good, so good because  most gospel songs I’ve listened to carry a message of salvation, love, peace, restoration, returning to God, and being on fire for God,” she adds.

“I have noticed that the standard of gospel music has gone up and is growing as well as being appreciated by many. We also have very talented and skilled people in terms of vocals and music arrangements.”
