President Hakainde Hichilema has directed all Provincial administrations in the country to ensure health facilities have running water and electricity in their respective regions.

It is an embarrassment that South African and British lawyers started a class action lawsuit against mining giant Anglo American over lead poisoning in Kabwe and yet the Zambian government is quiet about it, says Golden Party of Zambia president Jackson Silavwe.

The persistent and critical shortage of medicines and other medical supplies in health facilities across the country has been caused by procurement politics and attempts to isolate credible supplies from the supply chain by the Ministry of Health, it has been observed.
