President Hichilema challenges Provincial Administrations

President Hakainde Hichilema has directed all Provincial administrations in the country to ensure health facilities have running water and electricity in their respective regions.

President Hichilema has since tasked all Provincial administrations to develop an action matrix which will detail how service delivery can be improved.

The Head of State was speaking in Choma today when he addressed Heads of Government Departments.

President Hichilema said it is time to develop the country and is now emphasizing that all projects that have stalled including Health facilities, schools and important social facilities will be completed.

He said in 2023, all Permanent Secretaries, Mayors, Councillors should provide action sheets on all projects to allow him monitor how the service delivery will be achieved

The Head of State also donated two cows to Choma General Hospital and 25 by 96 bags of mealie meal for patients to share among the 45 Christmas babies recorded in the Province

And Southern Province Minister Cornelius Mweetwa has thanked the President for celebrating Christmas with the people of Choma and the entire Province.

He said much as the President is on holiday at his Choma farm, he exercised his good leadership by giving out to his fellow residents.

And later President Hakainde Hichilema in the company of First Lady Mutinta Hichilema visited Choma’s Maternity ward where the First Lady gave out ten hampers to Christmas babies which included baby basin, blankets, and mealie meal.

Mrs. Hichilema has appealed to the mother’s to take care of their newly born babies as are the leaders of tomorrow.
