Report any government official you suspect to be corrupt says VEEP

Vice President Mutale Nalumango says all those that are accusing the current government of being involved in corruption are free to report to the law enforcement agencies.

Ms. Nalumango says just like it has been done in other cases, any one including opposition members are free to report to law enforcement agencies any government official suspected to be involved in corrupt activities. 

She says government is committed to ensuring  that the fight against corruption is all inclusive and that all enforcement agencies operate independently. 

Meanwhile Ms. Nalumango  says government will ensure that the law is followed when it comes to its engagement in the public private partnership in the construction of the Ndola – Lusaka Dual carriage way.

Responding to Question from Pambashe Member of Parliament Ronald   Chitotela    if government is not abrogating the law by not following the procedure in the engagement of the public private partnership which requires a controlling agent, Ms. Nalumango says government will ensure that the law is followed to the letter and will soon be reviewing the law in this regard.

Ms. Nalumango also says government wants to ensure that the public private partnership yield the desired results and in order to enhance development.
