NEWLY promoted super league side, Kansanshi Dynamos has started preparations for what will be their first time in the country’s elite soccer competition.

Dynamos team manager Kanema Chinzhobu said that his team had embarked on a seven-day pre -season tour of Lusaka.

Chinzhobu told the Sun Sport the team arrived in the capital on Monday, July 29 and was expected to return to Kansanshi next week.

He said that 35 players were in camp where the technical team would work at bonding the new and the old players so that they stuck together as one family.

“We have received a good number of new players and obviously we will stick with some of the old players,

“So the idea is to have them bonded as much and we hope the old players can rub on the Kansanshi fearless spirit on the new guys,” he said

Chinzhobu could however not confirm the names and number of players that had joined the club as there was still a lot of paperwork to be done before finalizing the full squad.

Dynamos is expected to play in the super league for the first time in its history after they  beat Young ZNS 5:4 on post-match penalties after the double tie playoff games ended 1:1.

The Solwezi-based side became only the second team to have made it to the Super league in the North Western Province after Lumwana Radiants made it over five seasons ago.
