ZAMBIAN Premier League Group B Second position Nkwazi Football Club is focusing on qualifying for Confederation of African Football (CAF) next season.
With three games only remaining, the club is looking forward to participating in CAF for the first time.
Deputy Director of sports Mainza Kadolo said the team was in good shape and aimed at qualifying for CAF.
Kadolo said striker Emmanuel Chabula and others were putting in their best in training to stay on top and qualify for CAF next.
He said the team’s morale in camp was high as the team travelled to Nkana this weekend.
Mr Kadolo said Nkana being a very good club which had participated in CAF for more than once, it is going to be a tough test for Nkwazi the fact that they would be away, but was hopeful that Nkwazi would win.
“Nkana being a club that has taken part in CAF competition and has experience, it will not be easy to beat them at home,” he said.
Mr Kadolo warned other clubs to watch out for Nkwazi because the team was in form and aimed not only at maintaining the current second position but to participate in CAF and win the league.
The club is only remaining with three matches.
He thanked the high command the Inspector General of Police for the support and said the club would meet people’s expectations by performing well.
