Kings of Comedy pushed to June

The highly publicized Kings of Comedy night to be hosted as a fundraiser by the National Arts Council that was supposed to take place this Saturday at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre has been postponed to June 14th at the same venue.

According to a statement from NAC, the postponement is in the wake of the National Dialogue Forum that is taking place at Mulungushi.

“In view of the extension to the ongoing National Dialogue Forum which is taking place at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, the venue for the Kings of Comedy Show, the Council has decided to re-schedule the comedy show to 14th June, 2019. All tickets purchased remain valid,” read the statement.

The Kings of Comedy is a reunion of comics  Bob Nkosha, Aubrey Luo, Isaac Chamba, Joseph Simukonda and Patrick Salubusa (Saulos) under one roof in a special presentation. The comedy team was born way back from the days of Dorica and the Dudes. It is a team that gives a complete night of laughter and fan.

Initially, the event was planned for tomorrow in a special way to raise funds to support National Arts Council’s year of the arts programs
