MPS PLEASE, THAT WAS NOT HONOURABLE

Allow me to air my views in your popularly read newspaper. I am sure most people are now are aware that Topstar television has created a slot in their programmes to accommodate live proceedings in parliament.

I want to also believe that Honourable members of parliament are aware that the proceedings in Parliament are broadcast live to the general public so they could follow up on some development issues in their Constituencies. However, I was personally disappointed to see some members of parliament busy chatting and chewing gum while Honorable Nkhuwa was on the floor.

Do they realise how painful it is to see live your own member of parliament who you voted for busy wasting time on an unprofitable chat.

This in my view is one of the contributing factors to voter apathy.

If you want to prove this observation, let Topstar run their parliament live cast for Tuesday the 26th of February 2019. There is nothing to joke about we want to see value for our votes period.
