GOOD PROJECT IN THE WRONG PLACE

Written by on September 30, 2019

MY heart is with those residents of Livingstone who are opposing plans by Mukuba Property Development Company to develop the Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort that will comprise two hotels, a 600-seater conference centre and a Golf Course inside the national park.

They have my full support because this is obviously a wrong move by whoever is behind this project.

The residents should turn out in thousands to a public hearing on the proposed Mosi-O-Tunya Livingstone Resort to be organized by the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA).Just what is really wrong with this country?

Can’t these morons find land that is not in the national park if they really mean development and investment?

Why does the government even entertain these stupid ideas? Whoever cursed this nation if I find him I will gut him like a fish.  Africans, no wonder people think we are very dull. How can normal people build hotels in a wildlife protected area? This is insanity. It should be stopped and I am more than sure that they can find land elsewhere within Livingstone but not in the national park.

What is very clear is that our government appears not understand what “protected” land means.  This is why they have allocated themselves big chunks of land in the gazetted forest, which is “protected” land. If we dig deeper, we will find that it is these same politicians that are behind these real estate developments using dirty money.

I am not surprised that Zambia is one of the very few African countries that allow big cat hunting?

PF is destroying Livingstone and wildlife, why can’t they find land elsewhere not in the national park please please please please please please. Zambians please wake up and start demonstrations

against this project.

It would appear some people in government do not understand the importance of wild life conservation but they must be stopped in their tracks.  Please people be courageous and stop this nonsense.
