Models grace Best Western pool launch

Lusaka-based models mainly under the Pink Diamonds Model Agency on Saturday graced the official opening of the Best Western Plus Hotel Swimming Pool that management says will help promote fitness and good health amongst the youth.

The models, male and female, have also been given some exclusive membership to the pool, which will help them keep fit.

Hotel public relations officer and modelling consultant Sphiwe Benasho said the idea to engage models was to remind people that modelling is more than pageantry and catwalk.

“It involves keeping fit, exercising every time and shaping up,” says Benasho.

She also announced that the swimming pool would help promote swimming as a sport and recreation.

“The membership to the swimming pool is exclusive. It is one pool that will not only be used for swimming but help promote the sport and recreation,” added Benasho.
