Some family members of the late former Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube have said they are still waiting for the toxicology results from the autopsy conducted on the late lawyer.

The family members said that they were still waiting for the results to confirm Mr Ngulube’s cause of death.

Meanwhile, Police Inspector General Lemmy Kajoba said that the police would summon all those making unsubstantiated claims that there was foul play on Mr Ngulube’s death.

Mr Kajoba said Police were concerned with the continuous statements being made by some individuals concerning his death

“From the time he passed on, some people have been heard in some sections of the media insinuating that he was poisoned and that they have evidence to that effect. In any case, Police have been following with keen interest the comments made by the named individuals,” he said.

Mr Kajoba said the Zambia Police treated Mr Ngulube’s death as a sudden and as per procedure, an Inquiry File was opened. A postmortem was conducted to establish the cause of death.

He said in an event that the cause of death was natural, the surviving family deserved the right to privacy in terms of disclosing the cause of death.
