Stakeholders ‘s expectations high over tomorrow release of successful teacher applicants

Stakeholders are highly expectant on the announcement by government on the successful candidates for the teacher‘s recruitment process.

Last week, Civil Service Commission announced that it will release the list of successful candidates for the recruited teacher and later today the commission will be giving an update to the nation on the how the process has been.

And National Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQUEZ) Executive Director Aaron Chansa has advised the teaching service commission to stick to the lists that have been provided by the districts.

Mr Chansa says no changes should be done from what has been provided by the districts in respect of the decentralization process.

And Mr Chansa says there is also need for government to ensure that the expected numbers of teachers that are supposed to employed is maintained.

Meanwhile National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia General Secretary Victor Muyumba says the union is highly expectant on how the distribution of human resource will be done

Mr Muyumba says with most schools not having adequate teachers, it is expectant that the distribution of the teachers will be equal.
