Daev’s death shocking-XYZ

Zambian music label XYZ Entertainment has described the death of its member and budding singer David Phiri aka Daev as shocking and a big blow to the music industry.
According to a statement issued yesterday to confirm Daev’s demise, XYZ management said the XYZ family is devastated by the unexpected death.
“The XYZ family is devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of Daev and our prayers and thoughts go to his family, friends and fans, as we mourn this loss together,” the statement read.
The XYZ Management have humbly requested that members of the public show some respect to the family and friends of the deceased by refraining from sharing supposed pictures of the deceased bodies.
Musician Daev, 25, died on Sunday in a horrific road traffic accident. According to Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo, three other people also died in the same accident which happened around 14:00 hours along Chirundu – Kafue road at Red Paint area.
Katongo revealed that Daev was driving a Toyota Vitz from Chirundu to Lusaka with four passengers when the accident happened.
