Veteran songstress and Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) vice president Sista D has quit her position.
According to a public post on social media, Sista who was assistant to ZAM president TiVo Shikapwashya quit her position with immediate effect.
“I wish to inform you all that I have with immediate effect resigned from my position as ZAM Vice Chairperson. This comes after weeks of reflecting on the circumstances that have necessitated my decision which I have since communicated to the ZAM NEC. I wish the remaining members of the ZAM NEC all the best as I take my role of ordinary member of the association,” she stated.
The TiVo Shikapwashya ZAM has been rocked with so many resignations leaving a lot to wonder what was happening. B-Flow and KB we’re among the first to resign. Some musicians have since appealed to ZAM to address the problem.
