Bittersweet Poetry championed by the Mkushi Accents will tomorrow present a poetry show dubbed ‘ Born to be Great’ at the Mulungushi International Conference Center. The show is free of charge and is open to the public especially youths.
According to organisers, the show is mainly an avenue to educate, inform and entertain attendants as it will be centred on various themes.
Sponsored by Zambian Breweries, this show is likely to address underage drinking and alcohol abuse. It is also going to focus on creating positivity among the youths and help them look at alternative ways of entertainment.
It will also feature intellectual battles in poetry and debate. Mkushi Accents members led by renowned comedians Kapembwa and Kayster will be there to anchor the event which will be highly interactive.
Earlier this year, Mkushi Accents held another of the similar show which was centred on drug abuse.
The event was well-received and organisers are hoping there will even be more people especially schools to attend.
