Zambia’s popular telenovela Zuba makes a return on Zambezi Magic Channel 162 for the third season with a promise of more fun and drama.
The telenovela featuring main act Mwaka Mugala as ‘ Zuba’ started showing yesterday after a successful premeire and interaction with cast members over the weekend.
In season one, the show started with a focus on the character Zuba who kicked off as an innocent, rural teenage girl that had to leave her family and education behind to do a maid’s job with a complex, wealthy urban family where she fell for the young son of the house.
The story developed in many different themes in season two where the young girl Zuba from Maluba village, had obtained her school certificate and her dream of going to fashion school became a reality. Zuba later found herself working for Yemba, a fashion businessman who later fell in love with her. His love for her left Zuba in a triangle as she was also mysteriously involved with Thando, Yemba’s cousin. The two gentlemen ended up bitter rivals that worsened their relationship on Zuba and Yemba’s wedding.
The climax of Season Two left viewers in lots of suspense as the Zuba love triangle was affecting many other people close to them. What then is expected in Season three of Zuba? Catch the show on Zambezi Magic Channel 162.
