GOVERNMENT and other stakeholders should invest in youths so that they can help drive the economy of Zambia, says World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) county director Nachilala Nkombo.
Ms. Nkombo said this in an interview with ZANIS shortly after she paid courtesy calls on Chief Kabamba of Serenje and Serenje District Commissioner Francis Kalipenta.
Ms. Nkombo said since youth were the majority in Zambia, they could ably help bring economic transformation the nation was yearning for.
Ms. Nkombo who is in Serenje for a familiarization tours of the operations of the Zambia Youth for Conservation, Agriculture and Livelihood Action (ZYCALA) a project funded by the Scottish government and implemented by WWF and its partners said government and other stakeholders should come up with progressive activities that would redirect efforts of young people.
She also called on youths producing honey under ZYCALA bee keeping project to work hard so that they took control of their livelihood and future.
