Zanaco ups training

ZANACO defender Peter Banda has been ruled out of the team’s preseason training tour of Chipata due to injury.
The super league side left for Chipata, Eastern Province for the next seven days for an intensive pre-season training camp and a series of friendly matches with local teams.
Club medics confirmed that Banda will be out of action until mid-August.
Banda, who has been at Zanaco since 2014 from Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy made 12 league appearances for the Bankers in the 2019 Transitional Season.
Also left out of the preseason camp are striker Chitiya Mususu, midfielders Ernest Mbewe, Lawrence Chungu and head coach Mumamba Numba who remained behind due to national assignments.
The quartet are part of the Zambia national team Side that is preparing for the 2020 CHAN Qualifier match against Botswana in Francistown on July 26.
Young Centre back, Golden Mafwenta attached to Zanaco FC from Happy Hearts has also been roped in the Squad.
