THE Zambia Police Service has highly commended police officers that were part of the 2019 COSAFA winning team in Durban, South Africa.
Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja thanked the four police officers who were part of the Chipolopolo team which included team Doctor George Phiri, head of security Joe Sakaumba, chief inspector Mujunga Cephas and striker Emmanuel Chabula.
Kanganja was speaking on Thursday morning when the quartet presented the COSAFA gold medals to him at his office in Lusaka.
And the Inspector General urged Chabula of Nkwazi FC to maintain his discipline and emulate his former club mate, striker Justine Shonga who now plays for Orlando Pirates in South Africa.
Chabula is a recruit constable and scored the equalizing goal against Malawi which Zambia won later on post-match penalties.
