TWO Power Dynamos Football Club players Alex Ng’onga and Godfrey Ngwenya have returned home from two weeks medical treatment in India.

The two players who were sent to India for specialized knee surgeries at the Fortis Hospital in New Delhi returned yesterday.

Power media told the Sun Sport that the duo would return to action soon after their successful treatment in India.

“The club is pleased to announce to its esteemed supporters and football enthusiasts that the surgeries were successfully conducted on both players and that they will be back in action soon after full recovery,” the club said

The two in the company of team manager Lombe Chipupu aboard the Ethiopian Airways touched down at 12:10 hours at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola on Saturday.

Power further paid tribute to its sponsor Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) for facilitating the duo’s trip.

“The Club continues to pay glowing tribute to the parent sponsor, Copperbelt Energy Corporation for its kind gesture to fund  the trip,” it said

Ng’onga and Ngwenya sustained injuries during the just ended transitional season and were consequently sidelined in the later part of the league.
