FIGHTING off relegation has fired up NAPSA Stars with Coach, Mohamed Fathi, promising to rejuvenate his team for better results.

Fathy told the Sun sport in an interview that his team would immediately start planning for the coming season having done away with the transitional league despite not achieving his target of finishing second.

He bemoaned the team’s complacency saying that they drew too many games in the just ended season.

‘’Last year we managed to survive relegation but we became too comfortable this year in the middle of the log, we tried to win something but we drew too many games,’’ he said.

I think next year we shall plan better and we will push now from the middle to the top.

He said that the team would reinforce next season in order to achieve its target of playing continental because the team had good sponsors.

“Next season we reinforce the team, if you have noticed we have a very good sponsor and executive committee as well the board of Directors,’’ he said.

The NAPSA stars coach described the just ended transitional league as having been very competitive .

“It was very competitive because football is a very tricky game, you can lose one game and at the end of the day finish number four like Warriors, and on the other hand you can lose four games and finish on top like Zesco and Zanaco.

NAPSA finished in position number 5 having won 5 games, drawing 8, and losing 4 while finishing with 24 points out of the 18 games played in the transitional league.
