VICTOR Soccer Academy of Lusaka is set to groom and develop quality football players from Kabanana and surrounding areas to feed various clubs in Zambia, says assistant coach Nicholas Chumbwe.

Chumbwe told the Sun sport that his academy had been tapping young talent from Kabanana Compound and the surrounding areas with a view of making developing them into being big players for Zambia.
Our objective is to groom players and develop them to be better players. We source players from the communities of Kabanana and the surrounding areas,” says Chumbwe
He said the academy had recently provided the Zambia Under-17 national soccer team with 5 players who were currently in camp, adding that last season it contributed 3 junior players to the young Chipolopolo.
Chumbwe said that his academy was made up of two junior teams of Under-14 and Under-20 who both were in division two and super amateur leagues respectively.
“We have Under-12, Under- 15 and Under-19 teams all competing in various leagues,” he said.
He said that the academy had over the years contributed some of its players to Super league teams such as Zanaco FC and that it would continue developing players by being a feeder academy to other super league clubs in Zambia.
