Miss Universe pageants

Miss Universe beauty pageants from Nigeria, Ghana, Angola and Zambia paid a courtesy call on Amos CHANDA ahead of the ‘The Fusion Show’ they attended at Horse Shoe restaurant in Lusaka on 4th May 2019 hosted by Miss Universe Zambia managers.

The pageants will be participating in some charity work for the Esther Lungu Foundation Trust which hosts a special dinner at Lilayi Lodge on 11th May

The fundraising dinner on the theme: “Together we can Transform Lives” will be graced by His Excellency Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia.

The dinner will depict a passionate three-year journey highlighting the life-changing interventions the foundation has made in the lives of the underprivileged.

The foundation’s key activities include providing children with hearing impairments with listening devices so that they can attend school, offering scholarships for exceptional but vulnerable girl- children; relief food distribution and life skills lessons for women and girls across many facets of life.

A short, special documentary titled: “The Songs of Esther” produced by Amos CHANDA and several other interludes will be part of the three-year journey celebration at the special fundraising dinner to support the indigent of our society.

Foundation staff Ms Mildred Chumbwe, Ms Agness Imasiku, Bennedette Deka-Zulu are coordinating with State House staff Mrs Florence Chawelwa  (Private Secretary) and Amos CHANDA (Special Assistant to the President) for the event. courtesy of Smart Eagles
