Mika Convention to host Bob Marley memorial

The Bob Marley memorial concert dubbed ‘ The One Love Reggae Concert’ and organised by Brian Shakarongo will be held this Saturday at Mika Convention Centre in Lusaka.
This is the second time the venue is playing host to this prestigious reggae event that brings together lots reggae music lovers and followers.
The show is specifically meant to celebrate the life and contribution of the late Bob Nesta Marley had to music, reggae in particular. For this reason, organisers line up a number of local bands and artistes to perform at the show. Last year, there were over 30 bands that came through to celebrate the event. This year,the mood is the same as many artistes have confirmed participation.
Amongst those lined up include No Parking Band, Uru Vibes and Peter Bob, Milz the Teacher, Bongo Farai to name only a few. The show will feature lots of reggae music and Rastafarian culture and goods.
