ZAMBIA Super league side, Nkwazi Football Club has been censured by FAZ for going against the rules and regulations of the game in last Wednesday’s 2-2 home draw against Nkana.

According to FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala, Nkwazi have been sanctioned over the conduct of the ball boys during their rescheduled Week Seven match against Nkana at Edwin Imboela Stadium on Wednesday (May 1, 2019).

Nkwazi has also been censured for allowing the unlawful sale of bottled beer in the stadium.

In a letter to Nkwazi Football Club, Kashala said the conduct by the ball boys was against the spirit of Fair Pair.

“It has come to our attention that it is now becoming a habit, during your home games, for your ball boys to unprofessionally use delaying tactics and abandon their assigned duties against the spirit of FIFA fair play,” said Kashala.

He said that the Club has since been fined K5, 000 which should be paid within seven days.

FAZ has also reminded clubs that the sale of bottled beer at stadia was prohibited except where plastic cups, plastic bottles or containers were used.

Nkwazi football Club ball boys have been subject of debate and complaint among visiting teams for alleged delaying tactics.
