THERE is need for the church to preach love and peace among the people, says God’s Covenant Ministries apostle Paul Moses.
Apostle Moses said the foundation of every living church was to preach the gospel of love, to strengthen one another, adding that without the love of God, what the church may preach would be in vein.
He was speaking yesterday when his congregation donated more than 100 25 kilograms bags of mealie meal to the aged people in Shifwakula area of Chibombo district.
Apostle Moses said the love of God could be exhibited by helping those in needy in society.
“My prayer to the church is that may God give you the grace to touch lives through love by helping the needy in society. I also pray that God gives us grace so that we can go in the rural areas to build others,
“I am tired of being at the pulpit preaching the word of God. It is time to put everything in practice,” he said.
And Pastor Agnes Champinga of the same Ministries said the church together with its partners thought of showing God’s love by coming together to share the little that they had with old people of Shifwakula area.
He said that it was God’s love that led the church to visit the old people and donate few bags of mealie meal.
