Teuling Youth tourney attracts 600

The 2019 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge which kicked off on Saturday March 30 will this weekend enter its third weekend.
The tournament hosted by the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) has attracted over 600 young athletes.
OYDC Director Fredrick Chitangala, confirmed in an interview that this year’s Teulings Youth Sports Challenge had seen an increase in the number of young girls being part of the games.
He said the young boys and girls below the age of 15 were competing in netball, beach volleyball, Taekwondo and hockey.
“The tournament has attracted young boys and girls from around communities in the OYDC area that will compete to be selected for a spot in the grand finale slated for this October,’’ he said.
The teams which took part were selected from different parts of Lusaka and the grand finale will be held in October.
