WELL DONE ZCTU ON ZESCO PROPOSED NEW TARIFFS

PLEASE allow me some space in your paper to commend the ZCTU for proposing to halt ZESCO from going ahead with its plans to increase tariffs.
Now let me tell ZESCO that they should not take advantage of the monopoly they are enjoying for decades now in this sector to increase tariffs anytime they feel like without consulting and thinking about the general public and the hardship that they are going through. I urge the Government to bring one or two more investors in this sector to compete with ZESCO, because where there is competition service delivery always improves.
