With continuous growth and diversification in Zambian lifestyle and entertainment, the need for increased media coverage cannot be ignored. It is this reason that has made the Movement Magazine to continue on its path to deliver a product that will highlight Zambian culture.

While most magazines and publications fail to prosper and live to their promises, The Movement Magazine, owned by youthful Namwezi Namwinga is focused on continuity.

And evidently so, Namwezi and her team released the Seventh Edition of the Movement Magazine last Saturday at a colorful ceremony held in Lusaka at Corner Cafe.

This ceremony was to launch the new issue dubbed ‘The Grand’ issue and features Diamond TV C.E.O Costa Mwansa.

The Grand Issue is a follow up to the sixth issue they called ‘ The Power Issue’.

“Upon being the youth leading magazine in Zambia with six accolades attached to our name, we finally managed to get our first local recognition through the power issue at the Kwacha MUSIC Awards (media awards) 2018, the magazine known for its quality content, had produced the best article thus finding its way to being awarded the most prestigious CHAIRMAN’s award,” says Namwinga in explaining the Magazine’s road to success.

The Magazine also got nominated by the Unathi Events and Model Management for Naomi E. Banda’s award for positive change.

“The Movement Magazine herein, continues to inspire the next generation of successful youths giving opportunities to young people to tell their authentic stories distinctively. The magazine has proven its consistency to its readers and the media at large,” insisted Namwinga following the success of the launch of the new issue.

The launch was attended by influencers in the Entertainment and lifestyle arena including radio personality Chinyonta Musimuko aka Chi, Stylist Harris Nation, TV personality Hellen Zulu as well as Top Star’s Cliff Sichone. Others were Master Chimbala, models and Diamond TV’s Dingidaba Jonah Buyoya as MC for the night.
