F.C MUZA coach Dabwitso Nkhoma has condemned talks of relegation following recent spate of losses by his team, saying it is too early to start talking about demotion in the super league.

Nkhoma said his team can still achieve its target of finishing in the top four despite starting the debut season in the super league on a low note.

“We still have 13 games to play before the end of the league, if we can win three or four games in a row, I think we will be somewhere on the log , so it is too early to give up the fight will keep on fighting,” he said.

Nkhoma said lack of experience and confidence among his players has contributed to the shoddy performance.

He said that his team was playing good football but only lacked experience at the front of the goal and loss of concentration at the back.

The win against NAPSA ended the search for a victory at the club.

There was jubilation in the FC MUZA dressing room on Saturday afternoon when the team recorded its first win of the season in the MTN/FAZ super league.

The Mazabuka-based outfit beat NAPSA Stars 1-0, a result which brought relief to Nkhoma at Woodlands stadium in Lusaka.

Magnificent work from Daniel Chewe set up Emmanuel Manda who scored the goal in the second half to give MUZA a deserving lead in a week 8 fixture of the 2019 soccer season.
