NEW FLIGHT ROUTES TO LUSAKA

Written by on February 24, 2019

How nice it was to hear from out Minister of Tourism and Arts Charles Banda that the new flight routes to Lusaka are a sign of increased interest in the country’s tourism and business opportunities.

Mr Banda recently said the population travelling for business and leisure has increased over time, which is attracting airlines back into the country.

Yes, the development is most welcome, I would like to say that those tourists are coming into Zambia for cheaper sex with young girls and boys only. There is nothing to see in Zambia apart from what I said above, especially those coming from the Middle East.

There is one country in this region notorious for human trafficking where foreign men are forced into labor and sex slavery.

Low-skilled workers from China, Romania, Africa, Turkey, Thailand, the Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India migrate voluntarily for contract labor in the construction, agriculture, and health care industries.

Some, however, subsequently face conditions of forced labor, such as unlawful holding of passports, restrictions on movement, non-payment of wages, threats, and physical intimidation. YITZAK
