The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved Nkana Stadium as the venue for the 2018 Confederation Cup matched to be played in Zambia.
CAF inspectors, in conjunction with FAZ, made the approval after a final inspection of the home of the 12-time Zambian champions.
The news will be music to Nkana Football Club fans, whose team hosts the Sudanese side, Al Hilal, at their home stadium today, Wednesday, in Group C of the Confederation Cup Group Stage.
Zesco United will also be away in Ghana, where it is scheduled to play Asante Kotoko in their second game of the competition, having beaten their sister club Nkana, 2-0, when the two clashed in their opening game played in Ndola last weekend.
