PRESSURE is mounting on Power Dynamos coach Kelvin Kaindu after Saturday’s humiliating home loss to Nkwazi.

The Kitwe side has not won any silverware in the in the last 6 years therefore missing out on continental football having last played in CAF competitions in 2012 when it was crowned league champions in 2011.

The 1991 Mandela champions were now under pressure after recording two consecutive losses in the new restructured league.

Power opened this season with a win against newly promoted side F.C MUZA who they beat 2-1, followed by two consecutive losses.

But after the home loss against Nkwazi, Power soccer fans took to social media to express their displeasure against their coach who has been at the helm of the team since 2017.

Saturday’s home loss against Nkwazi meant that the Kitwe outfit has only picked three points out of a possible 9 points having earlier lost to Choma Green Eagles 2-1 in a week two game away in Choma.

Power has not been so active on the player market in the last few seasons but has instead kept the same old charges with a few inclusions since they last won the league title in 2011.

Other results in the MTN super league saw NAPSA Stars drawing 1- all with Circuit City in a lunch time kickoff at Edwin Imboela Stadium the same venue where Green Buffaloes picked its first win of the season in the second game after beating Nakambala Leopards 3-0.

The rest of the results are as follows:-

Forest Rangers 2- 2 Nkana

Prison Leopards 1-1 Red Arrows

Buildcon 4-1 Lumwana

FC MUZA 0 -1 Green Eagles

Mufulira Wanderers 0-0 Lusaka Dynamos
