WOMEN HOCKEY PREPS FOR AFRICA CUP START

THE Zambia hockey national women team has started preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup slated for South Africa in August.

Trainer Floyd Chomba said preparations were on course adding that the team knew what was at stake.

In an interview with the Sun Sport Chomba said the team’s target this year was to participate both at youth and senior Olympics.

He said that the team would attach importance to its training for the Africa Cup as well ensuring its qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
