Mushimba survives crash with arm injury

MINISTER of Communications and Transport Brian Mushimba, who was involved in a traffic road accident along Lusaka’s Thabo Mbeki Road on Friday night, is in a stable condition and recuperating at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
Minister of Health (MOH) Dr. Chitalu Chilufya confirmed the accident and disclosed that Mr. Mushimba underwent surgery Saturday morning and that a team of doctors were focusing on the wound on his forearm. Ministry head of media relations Mr. Stanslous Ngosa also announced in a statement yesterday that Mr. Mushimba suffered significant soft tissue injury on his right fore arm and is currently admitted to UTH’s Adult Hospital
