Former President Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Kaizer Zulu has applied for a writ of Habeas Corpus after being in detention for over three weeks. Judge Lombe Phiri said that after hearing the submission from Mr Zulu’s lawyers Tutwa Ngulube and Company,  sufficient grounds had been advanced and the application accordingly granted in pursuance of order 54 of the rules of the Supreme Court and hearing has been set for December 27. Judge Lombe gave the state eight days within which to respond to the matter.
