LUBINDA SAYS IMF BAILOUT IS A WASTE OF MONEY

Patriotic Front Acting President Given Lubinda says the International Monetary Fund bailout that the new dawn government is seeking will only be a waste of money especially with the high levels poverty in the country.
Mr. Lubinda says government is not doing enough to see that the poverty levels are reduced in the country adding that the new dawn government cares less about the Zambian people.
He says as long as there is rural poverty, there will also be growing urban poverty.
Mr. Lubinda says the introduction of free education is of no use if people cannot provide for their families.
He has since advised government to focus on how it can reduce house hold poverty in the country and work on reducing the high cost of living.
