Police summons Tayali

ECONOMIC and Equity Party (EEP) president Chilufya Tayali has again been summoned to appear before the police barely two weeks from being arrested has been summoned to appear before the police.
Mr Tayali during a Facebook post complained of being victimization by the police who had continued to mistreat him as he reported himself at force headquarters.
He said that according to the invitation made by the police they wanted to question him about his vehicle and that was tantamount to dictatorship.
Mr Tayali said the reason he was being victimized was because he speaking for the sake of majority Zambians.
He said that he was not intimidated that he would give the police the required information about the said vehicle.
Mr Tayali said that he was not bitter about the victimization because he was a law abiding citizen who was ready when called on. “I’m not bitter about being summoned because I know they will not find anything with me because I do not engage in shady deals,” Mr Tayali said.
Mr Tayali later indicated that he was not arrested but was freed after interrogations.
