GOVT INVESTIGATING MUSHROOMING OF MASSAGE PARLORS IN LUSAKA

Government says it will soon be clamping on all brothels and other places conducting illicit businesses in the Urban areas.
There have been some reported cases of Mushrooming brothels disguised as Massage Parlors and Lodges around Lusaka.
But Ministry of Local Government Permanent Secretary Maambo Hamaundu says it has been brought to the Ministry’s attention that some places are promoting illicit businesses such as prostitution in the name of massage parlors.
Mr. Hamaundu has warned that authorities will soon start clamping down on such places through existing laws.
Mr Hamaundu says government will also hand over to other law Enforcement Agencies should such businesses be found wanting.
