Five survive accident in Mwinilunga

Five people are nursing injuries after the truck they were on flipped off in Mwinilunga district along the Mwinilunga-Kalumbila Road.
The accident happened in Makangu area about 65 kilometres from Mwinilunga.
North-Western Province Police officer Dennis Moola said it involved Ashel Katumba aged 31 of Chingola who whilst driving a Saula truck registration number BAG 6075 lost control, hit into a culvet and flipped off into the stream.
“And due to the impact, the following sustained injuries, Arnold mphundu aged 39 of chililabombwe, Womba Kapusa aged 40 of Ikelenge Jeff kaheu aged 31 of kabundi area Chingola, Chishala Jones aged 33 of Chingola, Anshel Katumba disclosed Mr Moola.
He said all the casualties were rushed to Mwinilunga were they have been admitted.
He said the vehicle is extensively damaged, and the driver is to be charged with dangerous driving once discharged from the hospital.
