DEC refutes investigating Ndambo as they push forward former first lady interrogation due to the Au

The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC ) has refuted media reports that it is investigating South-African Business man James Ndambo in connection with the seizure of high value vehicles.
On Friday last week the commission seized high value vehicles allegedly belonging to South African business tycoon James Ndambo.
But speaking during a media briefing this morning on the cases the commission is working DEC director General Mary Chirwa says according to the investigation ,the vehicles are registered under Toyota Zambia and Joseph Chirwa among others and not James Ndambo and My Home Town.
Ms Chirwa has however urged business man James Ndambo to report himself to the commission if he is connected to the vehicles.
Meanwhile Ms Chirwa says the commission has postponed the date for the interview of the former first lady Esther Lungu due to the African Union summit.
She has however indicated the commission is ready to meet the former first lady anywhere once the formalities are done.
Meanwhile Patriotic Front Members of Parliament stormed the Ministry of Justice and Drug Commission Enforcement offices in protest of the Commission’s decision to summon the former first lady.
Leader of the Opposition Brian Mundubile says PF members of Parliament will not allow the current government to victimize the first former family.
Mr Mundubile says the MP’’s are willing to give legal support to the first family.
