LAVUSHIMANDA HOSPITAL READY NEXT MONTH


ONSTRUCTION of a mini hospital in Lavushimanda district of Muchinga Province has advanced, with at least 70 percent of works done.
Suscon Construction Company Site Manager, Bonde Chanda, disclosed that major works on the project have been completed with only the final cort painting, soaker ways electrical fittings and land scapping remaining.
The Lavushimanda mini hospital is slated to be completed by July next month.


“Looking at the works remaining am confident that the project will be complete by mid next month or before,” he stated.
And speaking after inspecting the project, Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary Davison Mulenga expressed happiness with quality of work exhibited
Captain Mulenga appreciated the various developmental projects effected in all the districts in the province.


Capt. Mulenga observed that mini hospital in Lavushimanda district and other areas will reduce on expenses incurred to travel to seek medical care and also reduce on maternal deaths.
“A lot of lives will be served especially that if expectant mothers and the unborn child, therefore I am thankful to government for this development,” he added.
And Lavushimanda District Commissioner Yvonne Chisenga praised government the numerous Developmental projects that are being implemented in the district.
She said the project has also created employment to the locals
“I am grateful to the PF government for giving us two mini hospitals in Chiundaponde and Mpumba areas.-ZANIS
