THE Zambia Correctional Service Commissioner General Doctor Chisela Chileshe has saluted Prison Leopards players for their great character they have exibited thus far in fighting to keep the team away from the suffocating red line.
The Correctional Service sponsored side who started the 2020/21 League campaign like a bush on fire, had seen their form dip at the start of the second round causing anxieties among its faithfull followers – the high command inclusive.
Speaking after the team laboured to seal a 1-nil deserving victory in a pulsating, heart throbbing, if not edge seating match, against resilient yet troubled Lumwana Radiants at President Stadium on Sunday afternoon, the service chief said it’s now game on.
“First of all Congratulations for the win. It was not easy and just as I told you before the match that Lumwana will come here with guns blazing there it was they truly made us work extra hard for our money,” Dr Chileshe advised.
“The league is becoming more complicated as we are reaching it’s crescendo, meaning between now and then we should not anticipate any easy games.
“So be mentally prepared, go there and give it your all and die a little for the service then everything good will follow.”
The Kabwe based-side next travel to Kitwe to meet Nkana in a game they are expected to send a statement of either rubbing more salt to the already injured 13 times Zambian Champions or perhaps increase their own pressure of staying afloat.
