Mayor Sampa suspends honeymoon

Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa has cut his honeymoon and leave to join the Coronavirus fight.
This comes as a result of a surge in the Coronavirus-related deaths in Lusaka.
” Given the surge in Covid-19 related deaths in the City of Lusaka, I have suspended my honeymoon and leave for a week and back to work to help on what other authorities are already doing to combat the attack,” the Mayor stated.
The Mayor also announced that he and the team will be conducting night patrols to various places to monitor the compliance.
“We will be back for night inspection for compliance against Corona virus,” stated Mayor Sampa.
