Wezi sings praises to Ozzy

Zambian songbird Wezi has said fellow musician General Ozzy is one of her all time favorite artistes and her hero.

The songstress who sometime back worked with Ozzy real name David Banda on the song ‘Pamodzi’ says there’s no single song done by him that’s never hit her heart.

“It was love at first listen! I’m saying this today but it’s not the first time because this year, on his birthday, I covered one of his songs out of the purest honest gesture to celebrate his birthday! “ Wezi stated on her Facebook page.

“With his (music) catalogue, if I could, I would cover his song every year on his birthday for the rest of my life.”

She explains that she loves him so much as her fan.

“That’s how much of a fan! The way Americans love Michael Jackson as their own pride and legend, that’s how I see Ozzy! Personally that’s my hero and I can’t even understand how I manage to be his friend mu life because that’s one of my favorite musicians ever!  “

She wishes him God’s blessings.
