Taxi driver nabbed with 18 balls of cannabis

A Taxi Driver of Choma pleaded guilty in the Choma Magistrates Court to trafficking in 18 balls of Cannabis.
In this matter Hendrix Sibajene 38, admitted to the charge of trafficking in Psychotropic Substances Contrary to the Laws of Zambia.

Particulars of the offence are that Sibajene on 16 September 2020 trafficked in 50.3grammes of Marijuana a herbal product of Cannabis Sativa without lawful authority or medical recommendation.
When he appeared for plea before Senior Resident Magistrate Idah Mupemo, the accused person without wasting the Courts time admitted the charge.
Court: Have you understood the charge?
Sibajene: Yes.
Court: Do you admit or deny?
Sibajene: I admit.
Court: Did you traffic in Marijuana?
Sibajene: Yes.
Court: How much was it?
Sibajene: 18 balls.
Court: Did you have
lawful authority?
Sibajene: No.
Court: What was your justification?
Sibajene: It was for
selling.
Court: I record a plea of guilty.
