ZAMBIAN MAN STABBED TO DEATH IN SA

 A FOURTY-ONE year old Zambian national identified has Peter Nyirenda has died after being stabbed with a knife in the neck following a marital dispute in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mr Nyirenda died at Retreat Clinic in Cape Town after suffering from neck related complications after he was stabbed.

First Secretary for Press and Public Relations at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria Naomi Nyawali said according to the information made available to the Mission the deceased sustained injuries following a domestic dispute.

 Ms Nyawali said Mr Nyirenda was first admitted at Groote Schuur Hospital where he was treated for neck complications before being discharged but later died.

 The body has been deposited at a private mortuary in Westlake awaiting burial.

 Meanwhile another 25 year old Zambian national was found dead in the central business district of Johannesburg.

Mr Chishimba Pongolani was found dead along the Claim and Plein streets of Johannesburg after he allegedly complained of body pains

It is alleged that Mr Pongolani was asked to leave his friend’s house after his condition deteriorated as he had no fixed abode.

The body has been deposited in a government mortuary in Hillbrow awaiting burial.
