PEIF donates to churches in Masaiti

MINISTRY of Agriculture together with the Presidential Empowerment Initiative Fund (PEIF) yesterday donated building materials to eight different church denominations in Masaiti as a way of empowering construction initiatives to them.
Agriculture minister Michael Katambo and PEIF national coordinator Clement Tembo visited Masaiti t where they gave out building materials to various church denominations that were constructing churches in the area.
In a statement PEIF media national coordinator Chanda Nkamba, the re-echoed the wise word of President Edgar Lungu who said love was key in everything humans did.
Each church received 25 pockets of cement and among the churches that received building materials were SDA church which received K26, 000 to electrify the church and another sum of K15, 000 towards the revolving youth fund.
A new motorbike was also handed over to the local church pastor for easy movements.
PEIF manager Mr Samuel Luneta concluded by saying enough resources was set aside to cater for any future huge demand.
