Roberto for another AFRIMA nomination

Local R&B singer Robert Banda famously known as Roberto has been nominated for the 2019 All Africa Music Awards also referred to as AFRIMA awards in the ‘Best Male-Southern Africa’ category.

This is Roberto’s fifth nomination in a space of four years and the singer is appealing to all his fans to show support and vote to bring the award home.

“This is my 5th nomination in four years and I need your help,” stated Roberto on his social media post to announce the development.

“I need your help my beautiful Zambians, to rally with me so we can bring it home this time. Vote for me by following the link http://afrimma.com/nominees-for-2019.”

In the category, Roberto is competing with some of Africa’s top performers that include AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Emtee, Nasty C, Prince Kaybee and Master KG all from South Africa. Others are Jah Prayzah and EXQ from Zimbabwe.

 AFRIMA is an annual awards event. The awards event was established by the International Committee AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union (AU) to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage. Its pioneer Awards show was held in 2014.
