FORMER National soccer team Under -17 assistant coach Reuben Njavera has been appointed to the newly promoted Kansanshi Dynamos technical bench.

Dynamos announced through a statement that it had appointed the Choma-based coach to its technical bench to reinforce their coaching team.

“Kansanshi Dynamos is pleased to announce the appointment of Reuben Njavera as an additional assistant coach to their technical bench,” reads the statement.

Njavera was unveiled to the team on Wednesday afternoon by the club general secretary Francis Malama and was also expected to be shown to the public and supporters.

His last coaching experience was at Roan United of Luanshya which he tutored the team in its Division One campaign.

The 50 year old coach has also formerly tutored Lusaka Celtic, Monze swallows, AM Welding (now Buildcon) and Mamba’s Zamcoal Diggers.

Njavera is the only reinforcement made to the Kansanshi technical bench as the club executive committee maintained its faith in the Israel Mwanza led team.

Mwanza was the hero last season after guiding the North Western Province based side to its first league promotion since the club’s formation about a decade ago.

Mwanza remains Head Coach, while Elijah Tana and Reuben Njavera will be his assistants.

Elijah Phiri will also be part of the technical while Kaoma Chilubanama remained goalkeepers coach.
